What is binding?
Version: Stand 2026.09For day-to-day application, the state documented here applies: in case of conflict with older files, PDFs or templates, the brandbox prevails. The source behind the brandbox are the versioned brand documents maintained by Brand Management. Where the brandbox deviates from them, the brand document prevails; such deviations are sync errors and go to Brand Management. Chapters marked "In progress" are not yet final.

Changelog
Layout, hard corners: speech bubbles in recreated chat and messenger interfaces are exempt from the corner rule. They are rounded as in real messengers, with the corner on the side of the person writing set sharper. Cards, tiles and buttons in the same visual stay square.
Prompt baseline: yellow scale and gray scale now appear as a table with step, HEX, CMYK and usage under their heading. Previously steps and values were missing and the usage notes sat loose in another section.
Colours: the usage notes of the yellow scale were one step too high. Primary and CI core colour is step 400 (#FAF514), step 500 (#EDE810) is for active states. The colour values themselves were correct and remain unchanged.
Logo system: in the store logo the place name is now bold and the STORE label light, the reverse of before. The place is the information, STORE is the same in every logo. All store logos have been reissued.
Prompt baseline extended with guidelines: physical promotional material (company name and address, reading distance, mandatory small print on large formats, packaging), layout and grid logic (principles incl. hard corners) and newsletter (rules incl. no logo, legibility via the reading-area gradient). These rules now reach the AI tools as well.
AI labelling: print no longer has a fixed position. With no interface overlays and no fixed positions of other elements, the layout decides by visual flow and hierarchy; size, the 3 mm minimum and visibility still apply. Digital stays top, top right by default, top left if a logo sits on the right.
Rules adopted from the brand system. Typography: no text shadows, URLs and other lowercase blocks in Roboto Bold, Roboto specimen with square corners. Tone of voice: Tennis-Point and Padel-Point always with a hyphen. Colours: colour values only from the system, never picked with an eyedropper, do not compare screen and print against each other. Logos: no logo on banners in our own newsletter. Visual language: staff in store imagery wear a plain yellow shirt without a logo. Guidelines: hard corners also for supplied slides. Corner rule: natural shapes (circle, pill) allowed, rectangles with soft corners not; brand box adjusted throughout. Print: company name Tennis-Point Europe GmbH with address, mandatory small print on large formats. Newsletter: headline and subline without a highlight bar, legibility when needed via the reading-area gradient from the overlay system, no logo on the banner. Newsletter: the rule “TP Yellow only as keyword accent, never as surface” is dropped; it came from the Padel-Point template. Packaging: TP Yellow may cover the surface, up to fully yellow packaging; the “accent only” rule came from the Padel-Point template.
New: prompt baseline at /de/prompt-baseline.md and /en/prompt-baseline.md. The brand box chapters as one Markdown document for AI tools, generated from the same texts, locked parts stay out.
Tone of voice: “since 1999” instead of “20 years” in the three remaining places (attitude, humour, sample headline), following the brand core correction of 29 Sept. AI labelling: digital minimum raised from 24 to 28 px (legibility). AI labelling: position is now a top corner, top right by default, top left if a logo sits on the right (motion and creator note updated too).
Image system: moment criterion added for the key visual level. Hero images are the highest level of the image logic, not an exception with its own rules: observed, credible, typical, instantly relatable.
Guidelines: new page Motion. Basic rules, building blocks (intro, end card, transition Wait a minute, chapter card open), sound as a storytelling device with remix and sound punchlines, face cam in translated versions. Logos: new rule on aligning text with the logo, left-aligned on the ink edge, and no-go 9.
Colours: new section Charts. Colour follows the message, six checks in fixed order, yellow-black ramp for equal categories and steps. Brand tokens v2.7 with chart rule and delta chips.
Brand core: heritage anchor corrected to “since 1999” instead of “20 years” (company history). Claim samples added for dark, light and yellow backgrounds. Brand essence, brand stance and brand anchors locked as work in progress until agreed with the management. Logos: Logo_bk.png and Logo_wh.png regenerated with transparency (Logo_wh.png was an empty white image), Complete and Web packages updated.
Guidelines: new page AI labelling. Official EU label top right in all channels, size by area, never larger than the brand mark, minimum 24 px / 3 mm. Downloads: brand tokens for AI assistants, version in the footer.
Brand core: claim on light backgrounds updated. YOU. is set in black on a square-cornered yellow surface instead of fully black, and the surface counts toward the rule “never larger than the logo”. Dark and yellow surfaces stay unchanged.
Brand core: the claim ADVANTAGE YOU. is never larger than the logo on the same medium, measured by visible width.
Logo system: the store logo with place name is for media that point to a store (store cards, local ads, Google Maps, nearby tournaments). The store itself, facade, shop windows, signage and interior, uses the wordmark without a place name.
Logo system: minimum size defined for the store logo (80 mm print, 560 px digital). Where space is tight, the plain wordmark applies.
Brandbox: technical overhaul without content changes. Page titles and descriptions per chapter, link preview image, custom 404 and error pages, fonts served from the build instead of Google Fonts, keyboard focus, skip link and ARIA for tabs and menu, reduced motion, scroll hint on tables, chapter footer with previous and next, sitemap completed.
Color system: yellow scale aligned with the shipped ramp, core value remains step 400 (#FAF514).
Guidelines: presentation chapter adopted from the brand document (3-11).
Visual Language: section on AI labelling added.
Typography: Courtside Sans always in capitals, the 28 px/pt size threshold is removed.
Visual Language: casting by purpose updated from the brand document (2-3).
Guidelines: print threshold for pure black (K) aligned to 24 pt (2-5); edge darkening in the overlay plus color space and delivery versions for print updated from the brand documents.
Logo system: store logo as its own section (BRANDMGMT-880).
Applications: print ad (Store Berlin, A4) added as an application example.
Tone of Voice: tagline library extended with a season category and validity window.
Color system: gray scale moved to the neutral ramp, TP Grey #464646 removed as a core color (grays are pure K), yellow-on-white redline in the print overlay fixed, Pantone statement clarified.
Content Creator: new chapter for external creators and influencers. Three modes of collaboration with different levels of specification, formats with usable area (safe zones), sender logic for our own and third-party channels, advertising disclosure and usage rights, requirements for raw material. No logo in the asset when the post runs on our channel.
Typography: function register aligned with the brand document (four real Roboto weights).
Brand Core: content re-sourced from the brand documents (de-fork). Four attitudes instead of three ("Approachable" added), attitude line "Accessible: does not exclude, it equips", claim no-gos extended from four to six (incl. the yellow redline), copy aligned with the brand documents. Tensions lead sentence sharpened: heritage and modernity up front, both pairs match rows of the table.
Governance: single source of truth redefined. Brand truth lives in the versioned brand documents maintained by Brand Management; the brandbox is the published reference derived from them. Where the brandbox deviates, the brand document prevails. Tone of Voice set to "In progress": tonality is being redeveloped as its own project.
Applications: new chapter started. First template store business card (name-neutral), plus the principles for touchpoints (place before network, claim like a logo, yellow dosed) and a roadmap of further applications.
Claim: standalone form defined. Spelling ADVANTAGE YOU. (with a full stop), yellow accent on the unit YOU. only on dark backgrounds, fully black on light and yellow surfaces. Treated like the logo, no lockup. First touchpoints: racket bag, business card.
Color system: remaining outdated yellow-rule wording cleaned up, "never as a surface" aligned throughout with the June 11 correction (yellow as a surface allowed deliberately and dosed as a signal).
Image system: Shop & Fit added as the fourth image type (webshop/PDP model imagery with special status: conversion context only, never campaign).
Typography: editorial redesign, statement register with real Courtside samples, stacked #teamyellow variant for vertical formats, no-gos as visual examples, sharpened channel logic.
Color system: yellow rule corrected, yellow as a surface is allowed deliberately and dosed as a signal (replaces the absolute "accent rather than surface" from March 25). Yellow on white remains a hard redline.
Tone of voice: editorial redesign with full content defork, distinct TP voice, principles table, OK/not-OK examples.
Brand core: visual redesign (dark statement blocks, reveal dramaturgy). Content unchanged.
Start-here page with role-based entry points, do/don't galleries for logos, typography and colors, Courtside font package with license, honest asset matrix, hreflang/SEO, EN localization completed.
Downloads cleaned up: logo-plus-claim lockups and standalone claim files removed, digital packages extended with PNG, README aligned to the brand tokens.
Color system: yellow on white set as a hard redline (no substitute yellow), gray system unified on the web brandbox.
Index hygiene: redirects from old brandbox URLs to the new structure, sitemap and robots.txt added.
Tone of voice: added the home-advantage tagline cluster for stores.
Rebranding: Brand Core v2 with 5 brand anchors, powerline removed, yellow as accent rather than surface (refined on June 11, see above).
The claim Advantage You is no longer a logo lockup but a standalone element.
